Paul Conrad Holland, age 84, husband of Lorene Cales Holland, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 20, 2026, at CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born in Green Sulfur Springs, WV, he was a son of the late Paul Samuel Holland and Margie Meadows Holland. Paul was an outgoing and fun-loving man who had the ability to make everyone smile. He was a hard worker all his life, and was a foreman in a rock quarry, a cattle farmer, and a rodeo clown. He most enjoyed his work as an owner and operator of an 18-wheel truck.
Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his wife of sixty years, he is survived by a daughter, Sara Varney(John) of Lenore, WV; two sons: Paul C. Holland, Jr. (Angie) of Fayetteville, and Wayne P. Holland (Sherri) of Roanoke, VA; seven grandchildren: Erin Charles(Karl), Cody Varney (Paige), Ethan Varney, Jake Holland (Caylia), Max Holland, Tyler Holland, and Danielle Holland; seven great-grandchildren: Briel Charles, Dawson Varney, Gavin Charles, Harlee Varney, Kynzlee Holland, Knox Holland, and Raelynn Varney, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by one brother, Jim Holland (Linda) and three sisters: Judy Martin (Jim), Julia Mongar, and Joann Hughes (Jim).
Funeral services for Mr. Paul Holland will be held on Monday March 23 at 11:00 am in the chapel of New River Gorge Funeral Service, 350 W. Maple Ave., Fayetteville conducted by Jimmy Bailes. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
